SWK 496 - Field Practicum I Credit Hours: 6
Prerequisites: SWK 396 , SWK 321 , SWK 443 and SWK 355 . Co-requisites: SWK 406 , SWK 442 , permission of instructor and 2.5 overall GPA. Restricted to BSW majors main campus and/or extension site. Development and application of skills used in social work practice. Supervision of student field experience in a community social service setting. Analysis and discussion of field experiences in a series of field seminars to be arranged by the field liaison. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom.
