Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 204 or ENG 205 or consent of instructor. Survey of major theories in rhetoric as they apply to written discourse from classical era to the end of the nineteenth century. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning.
