GGY 575 - Water Resources: Science and Policy Course Description: This multi-disciplinary approach to planetary water management includes the history of water resource issues; natural hydrospheric water processes; water quality constituents in ecosystems and human health; water project construction and management; environmental impact of water quality, quantity, and management; and applications of water laws, allocations, economics, and conflict resolution. The course satisfies elective requirements for the Master’s in Geoscience degree at UNCW in the Geospatial concentration and the earth processes and global change concentration.
