SEC 503 - Advanced Theory and Practice in Teaching Secondary English Course Description: Focus on the connections between theory and practice in teaching English with emphasis on the role of inquiry in informing instruction. Opportunities to design and implement lessons in English using a variety of instructional strategies that meet curriculum objectives, as well as address the needs of diverse learners. Reflection and self analysis are emphasized throughout the course.
