EDN 575 - Seminar and Practicum in Early Literacy Intervention I Course Description: Explores theories of professional development, supervision, and systematic changes and issues affecting early literacy, program development, and teacher learning. Develops skills for implementing, evaluating, and improving literacy intervention programs, including Reading Recovery™, and skills in facilitating conceptual change and improving teaching performance. Seminar and practicum experiences extend over two semesters.
