STT 210 - Introduction to Statistics with Applications in the Health Sciences

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: Satisfactory performance on the UNCW mathematics placement test or MAT 105 or an ACT math score of 22 or higher. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, probability distributions, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression. Satisfies University Studies I: Foundations/Mathematics and Statistics.
