HST 481 - Topics in African History Credits: 3
 (HST 581 ) Prerequisite: HST 103 , HST 290 . Intensive study of a selected theme in African history. Examples of topics: slavery, the slave trade and its abolition, pre-colonial Africa, colonial and post-colonial Africa, oral history in Africa. May be repeated under a different subtitle.
