FRH 470 - French Women Writers Credits: 3
Prerequisite: FRH 321 or FRH 322 or equivalent or consent of instructor. Examination of a wide variety of texts written by French and francophone women. May include such authors as Simone de Beauvoir, Assia Djebar, Helene Cixous, Margueritede Navarre, and Christine de Pizan. Investigates how women have positioned themselves in society through centuries. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive.
