COM 465 - Media, Cultures, and Society

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: COM 200  or COM 265 . Restricted to COM majors and journalism minors. May be repeated for credit up to six hours (a maximum of three hours may be used toward major degree requirements). A collaborative application of research skills to significant issues such as media effects, cultural differences in media use, and critical analysis of media artifacts. Students will complete projects suitable for presentation at an undergraduate conference. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom.
