Terminal, relatively non-mathematical course for the non-science major. Topics include atomic and molecular structure as a basis for a general understanding of chemical reactions, reaction dynamics, environmental problems, energy resources, food additives, and nuclear power. Three lecture hours each week. May not be taken for credit after earning credit for CHM 102.
