CRM 390 - Media, Crime, and Justice

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: CRM 105 . Examination of the relationship between mass media, crime, and criminal justice with special emphasis on how media images affect crime and justice attitudes, ideology, and policy. Includes examination of entertainment and news media in both electronic and print forms. Partially satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Clusters/Popular Culture.
