TFP 401 - Professional Development of Teachers as Leaders Credits: 1
Prerequisite: Formal enrollment in the Teaching Fellows Program or consent of director. In-depth examination of the principles of leadership as they apply to the professional development of classroom teachers. Representatives from professional education organizations as well as school leaders will discuss what is required for pre-service teachers as they prepare to enter the work force. Emphasis on the establishment of personally designed professional goals will allow students to prepare for their futures as classroom, school and organizational leaders.
