PAR 316 - The Philosophy of Art

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: PAR 101  or consent of instructor. Investigation and exploration into both traditional and contemporary theories regarding the philosophy of art and its associated problems. Visual arts, such as painting, sculpture, film, etc., will be examined. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Aesthetic, Interpretive, and Literary Perspectives.
