HST 332 - American Environmental History

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: Any HST course or consent of instructor. The significance of the environment in American history from the colonial period to the present. Emphasis on the relationship between the natural environment of North America and the development of American culture and society, as well as changing attitudes toward the natural environment.
