As the newest members of the University of North Carolina Wilmington family, you’ve joined a campus community that values creative inquiry, critical thinking, thoughtful expression and responsible citizenship. UNCW is nationally recognized for high-quality teaching and mentoring as well as research and community engagement. No matter which course of study you select, you will have the opportunity to participate in internships, practicums, study abroad, research and other applied learning programs.

Our faculty and staff recognize that each student is unique, with individual strengths and reasons for attending college. We are committed to helping you shape your academic goals into an experience that will change your life.

The various programs outlined in our Undergraduate Catalogue provide the framework for the learning opportunities offered at UNCW. While we encourage you to develop detailed knowledge of your particular field of study, we’re also dedicated to helping you discover a broad capacity for innovation.
